DKL Babe of the Month
Taylor, our DKL Babe of the Month, was born and raised in Bakersfield, CA. Her girl-next-door charm is apparent. She followed her childhood dreams and successfully got into modeling and entrepreneurship. Taylor’s talent, drive, and drop-dead gorgeous looks are second-to-none. When she’s not strutting down runways or gracing the cover of several notable calendars and magazines, the girl of every man’s dream enjoys hiking and researching new places to travel.
To her credit, she is an avid football fan and is the only girl in her Fantasy Football league. She loves the Patriots and thinks Bill Belichick is a legend, can’t say that I disagree with that statement. But perhaps it isn’t too shocking that she doesn’t want to be a professional athlete. She did, however, consider the thought of being Jessie James Decker for a day. I wonder if it’s because she has such a great voice or is married to Eric Decker? Regardless, I wonder if Taylor would intimidate other women, if only for a day. All that aside, the real question isn’t about intimidation or fear. The real question is: how do we embrace successful women like Taylor in our society? The answer is every woman has her own definition of success.
However, there are certain traits that many successful women share and Taylor has many. She spends a good part of the day reading, studying, and working to expand her entrepreneurship spirit. Her achievements far exceed her great curves and beautiful eyes. She makes it a point to surround herself with positive and successful individuals. She shared with DKL, “if you’re passionate about what you do, it will make putting time into it so enjoyable.”
Taylor mastered the art of having fun and working hard for her own sake, and it is contagious. Her playfulness and ability to enjoy and make the best of every situation is priceless. But her funny snorts take the cake in cuteness. In short, Taylor’s attractiveness lies not in her lips, cleavage, or short skirt but in her kindness, selflessness, and intelligence. She leaves us with one final thought, “feeling good about yourself radiates out the essence of sexiness.”

Week 5 Thursday Fantasy Notes
This Thursday brought us some good news on the injury front and a surprisingly low scoring game between the Pats and Bucs. Here are your week five Thursday notes.
Tom Brady Will Be Tom Brady
Even in a game where the New England Patriots only managed to score 19 points, even in a game where he uncharacteristically turned the ball over twice, the quarterback still managed to be Tom Brady.
Brady threw for 303 yards and a single touchdown in the Patriots 19-14 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The quarterback threw his first interception in eight regular season games and was sacked three times, but still led his offense to 402 total yards.
Doug Martin Doesn’t Seem Affected by the Time Off
Thursday night was Doug Martin’s first game back since his suspension. The running back played in limited snaps, as expected, but didn’t seem to be anything but prepared. Martin had 72 yards on 13 carries and a touchdown in his limited return. We expect Doug Martin to be back in full capacity in Tampa’s next game against the Arizona Cardinals and start racking up the fantasy points.
Bucs Kicking Woes
Tampa Bay’s kicker, Nick Folk, missed three field goals in Thursday night’s game. This fact is exceptionally magnified when you consider the Buccaneers lost the game by only five points. After replacing kicker Roberto Aguayo in the preseason (who was cut due to his inconsistency), Nick Folk is now two for seven in field goals over two weeks.
Other Notes
Oakland Raiders receivers Michael Crabtree (chest) and Amari Cooper (knee) were both upgraded to full practice on Thursday. The news comes right on time as EJ Manuel will be the Raiders starting quarterback this weekend after Derek Carr’s back injury that will sideline him for two to six weeks.
Sam Bradford was able to practice on Thursday in a limited capacity. The quarterback hasn’t played since week two and appears to still be dealing with his knee injury. The Minnesota Vikings don’t play until Monday night against the Chicago Bears so Bradford will remain a game time decision.

Everyday we see and talk to all kinds of beautiful, intelligent, striking women; sometimes these women are so gorgeous, they actually appear in everything we watch and read. The Pittsburgh, PA- Alexa has a body to kill for, a face that will make anyone look several times, and a mind Einstein would cherish! Luckily for us, she has no problems sharing her incredible attributes with DK Legends. We are pleased to congratulate her on being June 2017 DKL Babe of the month.
She has resided in sunny Los Angeles, CA for the last five years to pursue her career in acting and dance. Safe to say, with her awesome conversation skills and photogenic talent, we considered her one of the sexiest women ever. Hopefully, this feature will vault her from being previously unknown, to becoming a household name… only time will tell.
Alexa is a diehard Penguins fan. She does enjoy football as well; however, she shares, “going to watch hockey is one of my family’s favorite things to do back home. It’s so much more action packed.”

Fantasy Golf Breakdown for The 2017 Players Championship
How do you find expert picks for The Players Championship, more commonly known as the “Fifth Major”? The answer is easy you’re in the right place. The Players is featuring a $10.5M purse with a cool, $1.89M to the winner. Architect Pete Dye hit a hole in one when he designed the Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. The 44th Players Championship will unveil changes to this masterpiece; most notable is the driveable par 4 twelfth, now playing 302 yards. Will this be the “new Seventeenth”?
Jason Day, defending champion said, “obviously with the changes on 12, 6, and 7 to make it more exciting in a way that shots can go either way on the golf course, leads can change quickly.”

TPC Sawgrass was hit hard by Hurricane Matthew last year, losing over 200 trees with high winds and torrential rainfall. However, Sawgrass did a wonderful job in readying itself for this tourney, and the course could be in its best shape ever. Competition could prove to be more exciting and dynamic than the Masters with 48 of 50 top golfers entered. The gallery will hit nearly 40,000 spectators per day; second to only TPC Scottsdale’s Waste Management Open. We will surely be in store for a treat Sunday afternoon, so long as DJ does not rent a house with stairs.

One gentleman that will be in my lineup is Martin Kaymer. He is eight-for-eight in making the cut this year, with a win here in 2014, as well as holding a tie for the course record at 63…will he be taking home $1.89M this week? Martin has a scoring average of 70.9, two top ten finishes, a Masters finish of sixteenth, and has excellent value at $7,300. Can you say “show me the money”?
Dustin Johnson was the clubhouse leader on Sunday. He finished in a tie for second in his first tournament since returning from an injury that forced him to withdraw from the Masters three weeks ago. DJ is the longest hitter on tour and ranks fourth in scoring at 69.3. Be that as it may, priced at $12,000 he will have to win to achieve value in your lineup. Given his historically colorless performances in eight outings at TPC Sawgrass, he is just too risky.

Step 1. Maintaining A Positive Bankroll
Everyone wants to win a million bucks. But let’s start with ensuring a positive bankroll first. Playing smart allows you to maintain a positive bankroll so that you can enter a few high risk/high reward tournaments without losing all of your money. Playing Daily Fantasy Sports can be a lot of fun if you’re not going broke chasing a large payout. Trust us, playing smart is more satisfying than trying to get lucky.
Step 2. The 80/20 Rule
We recommend our members follow the 80/20 rule; 80% of your entries should be in 50/50 contests and 20% should be tournaments. Beginners and more conservative players might be more comfortable at 90/10. The concept is simple – if the majority of your entries are in low risk/low reward contests, then you will have a really good chance of gradually increasing your bankroll. And, our Pros will give you an edge over the rest of the field. As you increase your bankroll you can enter more high risk/high reward contests and give yourself a chance at winning big without going broke. It’s a strategy that requires a little patience but it works.
Step 3. Entering the Right Contests
We offer two very different types of lineups for Showdown Thursday: a 50/50 lineup and a tournament lineup. Be sure you are using the correct lineups for the types of contest you enter. Step 4. Diversify your Investments
Another good strategy is to participate in multiple contests. Playing five $5 contests exposes you to less risk than playing one $25 contest. Limiting your risks is key to maintaining a positive bankroll. Not every lineup you submit will win. Our Pros are the best in the business but there are no “sure things” in fantasy sports. By entering multiple contests, you give yourself a better chance of maintaining a winning average.
Step 5. Take Advantage of the Beginners Contests
Did you know that Daily Fantasy Sports has contests exclusively for beginners? Your first 50 contests on the site can be played with other beginners. We highly recommend new players enter these contests. The competition will be easier and it will give you a chance to get the hang of things.
