Is Ervin Santana The Real Deal?
Ervin Santana, a 34-year old right handed pitcher, is looking dominant through his first five starts of the MLB season as he is posting a stellar 0.77 ERA. After being suspended for 80 games in 2015, Santana went 7-11 last year with a 3.39 ERA in an effort that saw his team not giving him any run support. This year Santana looks in full form as leads the entire MLB with a 0.66 WHIP. His best ERA through an entire season in his 13 year campaign has been 3.24 in 2013, but this year I think he will top that easily. Do I think his ERA will stay that low? No, but I do believe his WHIP stays around 0.90, and his ERA falls around 2.5-3.0 by the time the season is over.

Absolutely. I will never forget owning him on April 15th when he threw a complete game with 8 strikeouts over the White Sox. Ervin Santana is extremely underrated this year, even though he is only through 5 starts. His price on Fanduel and Draftkings is so underpriced that I actually have started him in his last 4 starts. If he is at home this year, start him unless he is facing a top hitting ball club. Start Ervin Santana while he is still cheap.
