The NBA Playoffs keep rolling! Game one of the Western Conference semifinals is going to be a thriller as James Harden and the Houston Rockets go into San Antonio to face Kwahi Leonard and the Spurs. A defensive vs. offensive team square off in a game that is going to stay very close, and should not see that much scoring. James Harden is coming off an average series against the Thunder, but look for Kwahi Leonard to completely shut down Harden’s rhythm, which will force the shooters on the Rockets to really step it up. We do not think that any Rockets play is a good start tonight in San Antonio, and I will be avoiding this game as much as I can.
On the Spurs side of things though, we recommend rostering Kwahi Leonard since he will see 4+ steals against James Harden, who was second in the NBA in turnovers. In addition, the Rockets allow a ton of points on the defensive end, making any player on the Spurs a solid start tonight. Overall, this game is going to be the less targeted game of the two, but I do think that this game is going to be a thriller. Who knows… it could come down to the wire, maybe even overtime.
