NFL DFS RB Recommendations Week 14
This is the time of the season where you often see running backs show out a bit more. Just look at what Christian McCaffrey has been doing in recent weeks. He has easily accounted for 100+ total yards in Carolina’s last five games. Against the Cleveland Browns this week there is a good chance he makes it six.
But you’ll still need at least one other running back (two if you want your FLEX to be one). Anyone else worth starting
How about some DFS RB Recommendations?
Saquon Barkley should be in for a good day against the Washington Redskins as long as the Giants call his number. The Dallas Cowboys will ride Ezekiel Elliot for all he is worth against the Eagles. You can probably count on Alvin Kamara getting a lot of work against the Buccaneers this week.
But if you don’t want to go with a superstar, there are some decent options out there:
• Phillip Lindsay, Denver Broncos: The Broncos seem to have finally learned that the winning formula for them starts with the running game. Expect Lindsay to get plenty of work against the 49ers this week as the Broncos continue their late playoff push.
• Lamar Miller, Houston Texans: The Texans are looking to run the ball and lean on their defense to make the playoffs. Miller has been good for 100+ rushing yards the last two weeks and 100+ total yards the previous three. He should be good for another 100+ yard day against the Colts this week.
• Gus Edwards, Baltimore Ravens: If he plays, he could be in for a huge day. If the Ravens are forced to start Robert Griffin III this week, they will want to protect him by establishing the run. It should help that the Chiefs allow the third most fantasy points to running backs.
Best Bet?
From a budget standpoint, go with Lindsay, Miller, and Edwards (health pending) for your two running backs and the flex this week. Of course, taking McCaffrey would be a great choice as well. But be ready to pay the price for him this week.
