Week 8 DFS Sleepers

We highly recommend using our Pro’s core player advice, but if you’re building your own lineup, here are a few players that will score you points and help you fit under your salary cap.
Jameis Winston (QB-TB)- Oakland’s pass defense is last in the league when it comes to yards allowed per game. Winston is coming off a good performance against San Francisco where he showed his ability to spread the ball and move the chains. If Winston can protect the ball, we expect him to put up solid numbers this week.
Theo Riddick (RB-DET)- Riddick’s ankle has healed to the point were he is able to practice on a limited basis this week. If healthy on Sunday, he will step back in to his starting role and has a good matchup this weekend against the Texans. Check our injury report Friday for an update on his status.
Latavius Murray (RB-OAK)- Oakland has a good matchup against the Bucs and Murray has reestablished himself as the lead back and is getting all the goal line work. He is averaging a touchdown a game and should see pay dirt again this week.
Cordarrelle Patterson (WR-MIN)- The fourth year former first round pick is finally starting to come into his own. Patterson is extremely talented and the Vikings are finding ways to get him involved in the game plan. Last week he lead the team in receiving yards and scored the team’s only touchdown. He has a great matchup against the Bears and he is an excellent value in all DFS formats.
UPDATE- Patterson has entered the NFL’s concussion protocol. Check our injury report this weekend to see if he is going to play.
Marqise Lee (WR-JAX)- The Jags offense has not looked good so far this year with the exception of Marqise Lee. He has at least 7 targets in his last 5 games and is outperforming his WR3 status. On a short week and with Hurns banged up, we expect Lee to have a good outing against the Titans.
Donte Moncrief (WR-IND)- Moncrief is expected to play this Sunday. If he does, it should open up a lot of things for the Colts offense. Our Pros expect Luck to get Moncrief involved against a bad Chief’s secondary. Check our injury report this weekend for updates.
C.J. Fiedorowicz (TE-HOU)- Fiedorowicz has emerged as the go-to tight end in Houston. He has no less than 7 targets in his last 3 games. He has a great matchup against the Lions this week and is a great value in all DFS formats.
Jack Doyal (TE-IND)- With Allen still sidelined, Doyal has become a trusted target for Andrew Luck. He led all week 7 tight ends with 9-76-1TD on 10 targets. We expect him to remain a big part of the Colt’s game plan this week against the Chiefs.
