Garcia is batting an astonishing .301 with 4 homeruns and 14 RBIs. This is shaping up to be a breakout season, his previous highest batting average was .229 in 2016. He’s also proven he can steal bases, which is very appealing for DFS purposes- he is 3/5 this year on stolen base attempts. Best of all, Rick Renteria has moved Garcia into the leadoff spot. Since the move, he has scored 9 times in the last 9 games, which is exactly what you want from your leadoff guy. Yes. This kid can do it all, and as long as he is batting leadoff, you should make room for him on your roster- especially against a weak righty or lefty. His .301 batting average and .339 OBP percentage is very appealing for DFS players. He has the ability to get on the base and he has guys like Jose Abreu and Yolmer Sanchez to knock him in. As long as his price stays under $3000 on Fanduel, and $3500 on Draftkings, he should be considered almost every single night.
